Stability and support starts from the feet, ensuring that they are working in a way which is both functional and supportive long term. The E-Thotic metatarsal domes work by promoting better forefoot function through a better distribution of weight across the ball of the foot. The domes can be placed onto insoles using their adhesive material, although it may be required to use glue as a precautionary measure, especially if your participating in intense sport.
The sizes which are available are in relation to the thickness of the dome. The greater the size, the more pronounced the level of dorsi-flexion of the metatarsal shaft. Many injuries can be treated and/or prevented using the metatarsal domes including but not limited to; Metatarsalgia, Metatarsal bursitis, Achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis and Morton's neuroma.
