The Hospira Winged Infusion set offers a safe and reliable way to administer medication to an individual in both an emergency situation and hospital setting. The winged infusion set is easy to install and available in a variety of different gauge sizes to accommodate for all individuals. Removing the needle is made safe by the innovative safety mechanism which can be activated using the press, slide and click mechanism. Once the removed needle is concealed within the case, it is permanently locked, preventing it from being reopened, negating the risk of needlestick injury.
