The Accu-chek Performa Nano blood glucose system is used in collaboration with the Accu-Chek Performa test strips. The blood glucose system allows you to easily read your measurements with its large back-lit display even in poor lighting conditions. When you open the Accu-Chek Performa Nano blood glucose system for the first time it is ready to use straight out of the box for ease of use. Not only can is it easy to use out of the box, it will remind you when you need to take your important readings. This can be especially useful when on the go, where you can lose track of time. The system comes with a complimentary Accu-Chek Fastclix finger pricker to allow for easy sample collection in a way which is safe and relatively pain free. The system is able to self guide you through the blood collection process until you are familiar with how it works. The device does measure blood glucose levels in mmol/L as opposed to mg/dl.
