Description
The Ferno Saver Spinal Board is constructed using high density polyethylene plastic and filled with polyurethane foam. These materials make the ferno saver spinal board easy to use and manoeuvre due to its lightweight and durability. The board can also float making it ideal for rescuing individuals from the water, whilst also being x-ray translucent, allowing scans to take place without the need to remove patients from the board. The board is comfortable to transport in that there are 22 handles and can hold a maximum weight of 227kg. The backboard is resistant to body fluids, eliminating the risk of staining. An essential piece of kit for use in emergency situations for immobilisation and transport, in particular patients with possible spinal or limb injuries.
