The Aircast Air-Stirrup Ankle Brace has long been the brace of choice for ankle injuries with many medical journals supporting its superiority.
This ankle brace has a Duplex aircell system which uses two pre-inflated aircells which produce a gradual level of compression during ambulation. The compression helps reduce any edema formation and encourages the rehabilitation/healing process. The brace is lightweight and is able to be comfortably worn even when using footwear.
