The Push Braces Med Knee Brace is an award winning knee support for ligament injuries. Widely used by people for skiing post injury or to help to prevent further injuries as it provides a high level of lateral protection but easily fits under salopettes.
The brace provides substantial support for the knee joint in the medio-lateral direction. The non-axial support system contrasts with most existing knee braces which tend to use a hinge and aluminium splint to provide support for the ligaments.
The knee is supported by two non-axial leaf spring hinges that follow the natural rotation movements of the knee in a unique way, therefore the flexion and extension of the knee are not hindered. The splints are locked above and below the knee in plastic bases and the energy of flexion is dissipated through the strap system, making this one of the best functional knee braces on the market. The strap system offers generalised stabilisation and compression for the injured knee joint.
The brace is made of Sympress‚Ñ¢, a high-quality and comfortable material with microfibres to ensure softness on the inside of the brace and to maintain dryness of the skin.
When to use -
- Arthrosis with hydrops
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Functional instability after ligament damage
- Residual instability after ligament damage
- Delay after-care treatment of knee ligament surgery
- Popular knee support for skiing and other sports
