The Reliance Medical Maxiflex Dressing makes treatment of larger wounds fast and easy to apply due to its flexibility and conformability. The bandage itself is super absorbent making it more than suitable for major injuries in cases of emergency or general first aid treatment at home. Each dressing is individually wrapped making it easy to store in a first aid kit and offers optimal hygiene. IMPORTANT NOTE: Maxiflex multi-absorbant dressings do not contain superabsorber powders. Sanitary towels and incontinence pads routinely use superabsorber powders which turn to gel on contact with water, naturally if these enter the bloodstream they can present a critical risk.
