The Rusch Asherman chest seal is made for fast and simple application due to its innovative circular design pressure dependent adhesive. Once applied the gauze pad both cleans and dries the affected area, while the non invasive one way valve allows air to escape to relieve tension in conditions involving pneumothorax. This makes the Asherman chest seal ideal for emergency situations involving injury to the chest, pneumothorax and larger wounds.
