This thumb brace has been designed to stabilise the thumb joint in conditions such as arthritis or in sports injuries where the thumb joint may be damaged or weakened. Thumb pain may be alleviated by the stabilisation of the joint using a splint along of the top of thumb which is enclosed in an elastic fabric to add compression and support to the brace.
