The Ferno Universal Head Immobiliser offers optimal levels of lateral support with a base plate, two head pads, two head straps and earholes to allow monitoring of possible blood or fluid loss. The waterproof head block ensures there is no absorption of bodily fluids and cleaning made easy. Being able to undergo scans such as; X-rays, MRIs and CT scans with the immobiliser still in place makes the Ferno Universal Head Immobiliser a necessity for both safety and convenience. This head immobiliser is fully compatible with all Ferno spinal boards. The immobiliser is secured in place using precisely placed Velcro strapping which can be modified to fit. Its crucial to immobilise the head/neck area to help minimise the risk of sustaining a more serious injury whilst providing unrivalled support and comfort.
