Vivotape is top quality, low cost zinc oxide tape developed in 7 colours including white, primarily as a result of the professional market demanding colours to match their socks. In 2012 Fifa provided guidance on the use of coloured sock tape, to ensure that players used the same colour of tape as their socks, to help referees with player identification. This sports tape is a rigid zinc oxide tape and tends to be favoured by professional footballers for shin guards and socks ahead of cohesive and insulating tapes. It has a serrated edge for easy tearing and peals off the roll beautifully despite having strong adhesive properties.
